When the doctors are taking the oath of protecting the human life, then the decision to make the decision about terminating the unborn life is not an easy life. Surely there are two lives that are hanging in the balance, but one has to go, and when it comes to the decision of the doctor, then it is not an easy one. According to the survey that has been done in many hospitals around the world, there is the increase in the number of doctors who are not willing to do the abortion. The previous percentage was 14% which has now increased to 29% in just one year where the doctors are not willing to do the abortion. This makes the number of doctors from one into three to one into seven now. Hence, finding the solution to the problem has been one of the most difficult one and when it comes to the formation of the new policies in the hospitals, most of these doctors are unwilling to accept the orders of terminating a life.

According to the statistics in USA, the rate of abortion are quite high in USA, and more than 59% of the pregnant women want to terminate the life. Most of the abortions that are done in US consist of the two types. Either those abortions are done in the clinical setups or the abortion is done through the pills. Not only there are the medico-legal aspects to abortion, but there are many other aspects regarding abortion in many societies. When it comes to religious teachings, it is playing the great role against the law of abortion. However, this has not stopped the training of the doctors to learn the technique of abortion.

When the statistical data was collected about the abortion done by the doctors on the religious basis, the Jew doctors are more likely to perform the abortion, which is then followed by Muslim, Catholics and other doctors. Yet this study is biased because not every time the conditions are same. For some reasons, the abortion is required to be done in order to save mother’s life. There are many other aspects which are considered to be done in order to save the life of the patient and when it comes to the abortion, the whole decision is either lying on the shoulders of the parents, and then the doctors have to make the decision about it.
